Media Advisory: MATT LEINART TEAMS UP WITH AMERICAN RED CROSS TO PROMOTE CPR/AED AWARENESS

WHO: | MATT LEINART, HEISMAN TROPHY WINNER, QUARTERBACK OF
THE ARIZONA CARDINALS, AND AMERICAN RED CROSS 2008 NATIONAL CELEBRITY CABINET MEMBER
MATT LEINART will help educate and raise awareness regarding the importance of knowing how to administer CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillator,) and to encourage individuals to become trained and certified in this lifesaving skill. LEINART, who was recently certified in CPR/AED training, will demonstrate how easy it is to learn CPR/AED and potentially save lives.

WHAT: | LEINART will be joined by members of the AMERICAN RED CROSS to give a live CPR/AED demonstration.

WHY: | MATT LEINART and the AMERICAN RED CROSS want to urge people to provide immediate lifesaving assistance to those in need! Approximately 300,000 Americans suffer from sudden cardiac arrest each year. Tragically, more than 95 percent of sudden cardiac victims die before reaching the hospital.
