Current Projects
Education and Child Nutrition Initiative
The American Red Cross and Vietnam Red Cross are working to improve overall academic performance among girls and boys ages six to 11 in impoverished, rural schools in Vietnam by reducing hunger and addressing other causes of malnutrition. The project is assisting more than 50,000 primary school children and 200,000 of their family members through school feeding, school-based nutrition and hygiene education and community-based health programming.
